A boutique developer wanted planted terraces on every floor — an architectural idea that only works if the structure behind it is engineered for the extra load, drainage and waterproofing from day one.
Build & Care ran the full journey: topographic survey, geotechnical investigation, structural design of the cantilevered terraces, and complete on-site execution.
Continuous planted cantilevers add sustained load and a permanent water path at exactly the point where most buildings leak.
We designed the terraces as integral RCC cantilevers with a layered drainage and tanking detail, and supervised every pour ourselves rather than handing drawings to a third party.
Two monsoons after handover the terraces remain leak-free, and the building let the developer price its units well above the local market.
