What We Delivered
A tight urban plot with no room for prolonged wet works called for a steel-framed solution: fabricate off site, erect fast, and keep the road open for the neighbourhood throughout.
Build & Care handled shop drawings, workshop fabrication of 420 metric tonnes, site erection and the finishing works that followed.
The Challenge
The site had a single narrow access road shared with residents, so deliveries and craneage had to fit into short, scheduled windows.
Our Approach
Steel was delivered in erection sequence to a just-in-time schedule, with lifts planned into agreed daily windows so the road stayed usable.
The Outcome
The frame topped out in 52 days with zero connection rework and no formal complaint from the neighbourhood throughout erection.
